Army Boots Are No Longer Just For The Armed Forces
Army boots are military footwear that are worn by those in the armed forces both while engaging in combat training as well as during actual warfare. These boots are typically also worn during special military ceremonies and while marching in parades.
Army boots are specifically designed to protect soldier's feet while walking through rugged terrains. They are made with better grip and a high level of ankle stability to prevent injuries from occurring while in the line of duty. Army boots are typically water resistant to accommodate any conditions and environments in which a soldier might find him self. They are usually made out of touch leather.
There is no longer just one type of army boot. As manufacturers have continued to improve upon their designs, along with the improvements in technology, there have been developed several different types of army boots, including desert boots, tanker boots, jungle boots, jump boots, and even cold weather boots. Additionally, more and more regular people who are not in the military in any capacity have started to wear these types of boots for hiking and other outdoor type activities. Still, some people wear army boots not for their functionality at all, but simply for the fashion of it.
The United States Army issues boots to its soldiers that are manufactured according to very specific requirements. This is to ensure that during battle soldiers are in the best physical and mental state so that they can fight at an optimum level while at the same time protecting themselves and their fellow soldiers from harm. For this reason, US issued army boots are required to be heavy-duty yet comfortable and also lightweight. They must be able to withstand all types of weather conditions. Thus the material used must be tough and rugged to be able to be stand up against the worst conditions imaginable.
As durable as they must be, they must also be flexible such that the feet and ankles can twist enough during the swift maneuvers soldiers engage in during action while in the battlefields, as well as in parades and ceremonies. They must also not be too onerous such that wearing them during office duty or other menial tasks is difficult and uncomfortable. Thus army boots must be as versatile as possible.
Those army boots worn by the military and those worn by the general public will not be one and the same. The boots worn by common people, although still rugged, do not need to be nearly as durable or heavy-duty as those worn on the battlefield. As such, these boots will typically mostly be made from canvas material with tough and rigid rubber soles. These boots will last a decent amount of time, unless they are worn during military combat, for which they are not meant.
