Bungee Bets in Spread Betting
One of the best types of bets that you can use in spread betting is a bungee bet. This is a bet where floor and ceiling levels are placed to help with keeping your bet from falling into values that may be outside of the range you want them to be.
A bungee bet is a type of spread bet where the risk that is involved will be limited. This is because of how in this bet floor and ceiling levels are placed on the investment. However if the spread bet that you are using goes beyond any of these levels your position is going to continue to be open for as long as needed.
The floor level is the level where the price of your bet will not move below it. For example, if you have a bet where the floor level is at 85 the price for your bet will not go below 85 even if that value does go below that level.
A ceiling level works as the opposite. This is the level where the price of the bet will not go above. This is used as a limit as to how high the value of your bet can go. It will be used when you are in a position where you feel that the value of an investment will go down.
Although these bets can be used to help you to limit the losses that you get in spread betting it will work differently from a standard type of stop order. If the market that your bet is in goes beyond the bungee bet floor or ceiling that you have placed your position will still be open.
An expiration date will be used as a means of finding when your position will end. This means that your bet will not end on stop orders even though the floor or ceiling that is used in your investment can be used as a limit on how much you would end up losing in spread betting.
Bungee bets are valuable things to consider for spread betting. These bets are ones that feature ceiling or floor levels where you will keep from losing too much money. However, your position will not close after the market goes beyond any of these levels. It will instead close as the expiration date for your bet is reached. This is a great option to look into for your spread betting needs.
